When you create a page on KidGOAT, we collect only what you provide:
We intentionally keep kid info minimal (first name + last initial) to respect privacy and avoid uniquely identifying children.
By default, only you — while signed in with your Google account. Nothing is posted publicly. There are no public profile URLs. Share links, when available, only work for people you explicitly send them to.
We do not:
KidGOAT is a tool for parents and guardians to track their kid's youth sports. Kids don't create accounts, don't sign in, and don't interact with the service directly. When you add a kid, you are taking responsibility for the information entered — you confirm that you are the kid's parent or guardian, and that you have the right to provide this information.
We intentionally collect only the minimum info needed (first name, last initial, basic stats). We do not request or store last names, home addresses, phone numbers, or schools.
You can delete your kid's page anytime. Because it's just a tool and we hate friction, deletion is immediate — no waiting period, no questions asked. To delete:
When you delete, your kid info, games, photos, and parent profile are all permanently removed from Firebase and Cloudinary. Your Google account stays untouched — we only signed you in, we never touched anything in your Google account.
We do not use advertising trackers. We use a small amount of local storage to cache your kid's page so it loads fast, and Firebase uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. That's it — no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no data sales.
We use Firebase security rules to enforce that only you can read or write your own data. All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). We do not store passwords ourselves — Google handles authentication.
If we make material changes, we'll email you at the address on file and post a notice here. If you don't agree with the changes, you can delete your data.
